Medical safety is an important issue related to the quality of medical care. Furthermore, providing safe medical care is the foundation of medicine. It is of utmost importance that the hospital and individual staff members recognize the necessity and importance of medical safety as their own issue, strive to establish a medical safety management system, and thoroughly execute safe medical care. The hospital will conduct activities to foster a safety culture, centering on the Medical Safety Committee, to establish a medical safety management system.
In accordance with the "Medical Safety Management Regulations" in the guidelines for medical safety management, we will establish a committee as a practical organization related to medical safety.
To improve each staff member's awareness of safety, skills to perform duties safely, and awareness as a team member, we will conduct training at least twice a year.
1) Reported cases will be treated as valuable review examples while strictly observing the protection of personal information.
2) We will analyze and evaluate causes as necessary and utilize them for medical safety measures.
1) According to the patient impact level classification, incident/accident reporting cases of level 4 or higher are considered emergencies, and the chairperson (or vice-chairperson) will report the current situation to the hospital director according to the emergency contact network.
2) We will constantly plan, implement, and evaluate to foster a safety culture on a daily basis.
These initiatives will be posted within the hospital and on our website to be made available for viewing by patients, etc.
To ensure a system capable of responding to complaints and consultations from patients, etc., we have established a permanent Patient Consultation Counter within the hospital.
1) The Patient Consultation Counter will be clearly indicated within the hospital.
2) We will ensure that patients and their families do not suffer any disadvantages as a result of their consultation. The content of consultations from patients and their families will be handled with care regarding reporting, etc., strictly observing the protection of personal information.
3) Matters related to medical safety raised in complaints and consultations will be reported to the Medical Safety Committee to consider medical safety measures, etc.
